    • we were doing some spring cleaning sa house, and for the whole afternoon nakakalat lang sa living room lahat ng photo albums namin. i looked through them and saw.. myself! hahaha. ang cute ko pala nung bata ako. :D hihi, so i decided to scan some of my favorite pictures (and some that hold the best memories for me), and share them with you :) may gap of growing-up time dito, kasi mula nagstart yung grade school ko sa CSA, hindi na kami masyadong picture-taking people. nasa CSA album yung pics ko :) medyo hindi rin ata in-order yung pics, lalo na around 4-7 years old, kasi di ko na madistinguish yung age ko. :P sa bandang huli, yung pics na may asterisk, hindi na akin. nasa description yung credit. :D

    Pisay: The Movie brought back so, so, so many memories of my beloved high school. :) watching it was a huge nostalgia attack; all the memories i didn't know i was holding came rushing back - all the people i came to know and love; the teachers that have molded my life and how i live, teachers that i still miss, teachers i will remember forever; the buildings i spent hundreds of hours in; the track oval where i clocked in many many rounds of strolling; the memorable front lobby; the caf and the unique food, lol; the dorms and all the unique experiences that came with it - dorm managers, loveable roommates, curfew, gate passes, food delivery; the moments of pure joy and insanity; the heartbreaks; the inside jokes; the academic torture - from three years of BioChemPhysics, to PetriMath to STR; the novelty of being a scholar; everything i loved about that part of my life.. i remembered them all wh...

    pag nasa SHB kami, sa pinaka-gilid ako ng room nakaupo, and i lean on the wall and face the window. that way, seatmates ko usually si Nic and Nikki. :) yung totoong katabi ko, usually si Beng.
    pag sa Physics, i sit with.. uh Joy and Olin.
    sa STR, of course si Joy. :D

    i'd forgotten just how much i love, love, LOVE John Cusack. kilig na kilig ako habang pinapanood sya :)) ang pogi nya okay. :P and as you know (or, as it's completely obvious) i'm the biggest sucker for romantic comedies, and (along with Hugh Grant) John Cusack is KING of romantic comedies. he's just.. sigh. ♥

    this wasn't even a particularly good movie. it wasn't extraordinary in any way; it was bordering on predictable at times, and if you're not me you'd have found it unbearably cheesy. but i was curled up on the couch giggling like CRAZY, enjoying every moment, hanging on to every word, feeling everything the characters were feeling because of JOHN CUSACK. haaaay. i got the urge to watch all the romantic comedies...

    • 1 September 2007 The Loft Manansala Tower, Rockwell ---------- for the first time in a long long long time (kay Jaw na yung huli - more than a year ago), i brought a real live digital camera to someone's debut. :P nung una, tinamad pa 'ko magtake ng pics. parang ang hassle kasi, and i couldn't take any pics of the program kasi ang layo namin sa stage. pero dahil natural na camwhores ang mga kasama ko, at ako lang pala sa table ang may dala ng camera, i ended up taking pictures until the camera batteries ran out. good job. love you, Bea! ang ganda mo as always. surrounded din by guys as always. :P benta yung studio pictures mo. :)) and the fact na pinagtripan namin yung malaki mong tarp sa entrance -- you know it's a unique expression of love. :P my night ended at my house with Charm, Desa and Kaye. buhay baboy lang kami when we woke up at 10 this morning: we just ate and lounged around and watched TV and they read stuff on my laptop until they had to leave at around ...

    sayang maraming hindi makakapunta. :( ang saya sana nuuuun. i had the biggest grin on my face habang tinetext ko si celine about it -- una dapat sa frontlob yung distribution, tas may nagsuggest sa kanya na sa grandstand na lang para mas masaya. tapos waw, all the memories i have of strolling (hours and hours ang na-accumulate kong paglalakad sa oval in 4 years), playing games, lying on the grass, waiting for the curfew bell, watching Labuyo matches and practices, cheering for the Intrams, swatting away mosquitoes, counting fireflies, watching sunsets... it all came rushing back and i just can't wait to go back there again. :)

    KOREA!!! August 2004!!! Oh, man. We were tiny, innocent children with no parental supervision, roaming around the streets of Korea, eating at Burger King, taking pictures of trees and participating in robotics stuff that we had almost no idea about. Good times, good times. I miss the high school experience, and AstroSoc. Sigh. Thanks Sir Llags for uploading these pictures. :)

    • Nostalgia alert! Part 5? Haha. Lately, everything I put here on Multiply are blasts from the past. I have to keep this account alive somehow, and since I don't have a digital camera I can lug around everywhere, this is the best I can do. Today's edition consists of scans of a bunch of handouts, projects, papers that I revisited with the help of my Box of High School Memorabilia. After a few hours of laughing and getting teary and silent reflection, I decided to scan some of the most priceless ones and share them with you. :) This album is interspersed with a few "Where are they now?" pictures from the past to the present, just for variety. ;) I scanned these pictures and created this album with the help of a wonderful playlist I put together on iTunes. All levels of nostalgia, okay. It looked a little bit like this:

These beautiful ladies are some of the biggest parts of me. They have shaped much of who I am today, and I am forever grateful for their unconditional love and acceptance.

    This is so late, mostly because I only found the time today to actually sit down and write it. Thank God for days off! I couldn't let this experiece pass without commemorating it somehow, and this is my meagre contribution to all the praise and raving that blueREP's bare is no doubt receiving from all over.

    If you're really sensitive about it, I guess there are spoilers in this review. Nothing that isn't in the musical's Wikipedia page, but I mention some small things that are specific to this particular production. All pictures are taken by Jorja Hung, from this gallery.

    I don't know what had to be done to make that night happen, but I cannot be more grateful to The Powers That Be for giving us the greatest gift. I'm still amazed that it even happened at all, and it still feels surreal when I remember that I was there.
